where do i BEGIN! (haha! get it? no, do you get it?)
begin cafe is located in uptown westerville, across from another fav spot of mine.
WINDOWS!! begin has amazing natural lighting, plants (we love plants), lots of seating, including seating in the back, chairs outside, and maybe some more seating in the alley to come… or so i’ve been told through insider sources.
menu: clear and to the point. limited VERY CUTE drink options (which is a win, i get overwhelmed with choices when there are 3 pages of monin syrups listed). the syrups are also all made in house! (another win)
begin’s journey started long long ago, and has finally made it’s opening the last week of april 2025. it’s been a blessing to see how the shop operates, to meet the people that walk through the door, to know the owners Kayla & Mike, and work with the staff that make all of this happen :)

oh, and everything is made in house, not just the syrups! there’s a cool kitchen team in the back (inlcuding one of the owners) and all the food is made with love and peace and spice and everything nice

iced vanilla latte (with cinnamon powder because i begged for it)
i think every single pastry, and every single bowl, and every single toast. hey man, im allowed to. i know the owners!
