i took a little day trip with mitch over to hocking hills to stay in a cabin, relax, hottub, be outside. it was nice! before we left for our trip, i realized..
omg!! there’s a coffee shop on the way there that i’ve been following on FACEBOOk, and we HAVE to go or else all is cursed
we pull up to the shop, and see it’s a big cabin along the highway, with some other shops around it.
we love a coffee cabin with photo ops
there was a second floor (win) with games and windows to watch the people below us play putt putt very badly
here we got:
iced vanilla latte (i didn’t even get that this time, mitch is addicted to them as well)
iced maple latte (yum)
a large (like basketball sized) maple glazed donut that i did not take a picture of because phone does NOT eat first (i just forgot to take a pic)
there are A LOTTTT of flavors to choose from. arguably too many, which is what the guy in front of us said. we were all thinking it.
had fun seasonal drinks, like Fruity Pebbles Frapp, Luck of the Irish Latte, etc. i love cute drinks even if i don’t drink them
rocking chairs inside and outdoors. i love a good rocking chair. it’s important for the mind, body, and soul.
really, the only bad part was there are no public restrooms. gotta poop? use the porta potty outside, you idiot
all in all, cute place. but soon i discovered..
A SECOND LOCATION!!!
just a few miles down the road, further out in the country, you can find ‘Oasis Coffee Shop 2.0’
it’s a trailer with a drive-thru, seating outside and on a little balcony/patio.
it’s unique, and i’d probably prefer it to the original because of location and seating.
unfortunately, i realized far too late that my gray sweatpants were wet on the butt, because i left my car windows open the night before and it rained on my seat. luckily for me, i do not care that much.
